Extreme dates: 1942-1972
In January 1937, a commission made up of Max Aub, Luis Lacasa, José Luis Sert, Louis Aragó and José Bergamín visited Pablo Picasso to inform him of a commission from the Government: it was a large mural that would be exhibited in a lower floor wall of the official Spanish pavilion at the 1937 Paris International Exhibition.
