The archive has always been located on the second floor of the Town Hall building. During the floods of 1982, the documentation relating to the Agrarian Chamber and Court of Peace, which was on the ground floor, was washed away, and is currently in the offices on the upper floors of the Town Hall.
Later, part of the historical archive was moved to the Casa de la Música building, where it is currently. And in the latest reform of the City Council, the administrative file has been moved to the Municipal Library where a stay has been granted.
With the accession to the Joint Archives Service that began in January 2016, the proper tasks of ordering, cataloging and classifying its documentation were carried out, which have continued until today allocating 20 annual modules with a total of 80 hours per year.
Since 2018 it has been integrated into the Online Archives System (SAVEX) of the Generalitat Valenciana and visible in the Opac.
