In the Municipal Archive of Massalavés we find the municipal fund resulting from the activity developed by the City Council up to the present day, with 1845 being the date of the oldest document. As well as the documentation of other disappeared entities, such as the Chamber of Agriculture.
In 2004, the Town Council of Massalavés joined the experimental phase of the Archives Service of the Commonwealth of Ribera Alta.
And since January 24, 2005, through plenary agreement, they have joined the consolidated phase of said service. Initially with 2 modules per month (8 hours per month) up to the current 2.5 modules (10 hours per month).
The chronology of this documentation starts in 1845 until 2016.

Wealth Register of 1877
The Town Council of Massalavés, through the Archives Service of the Commonwealth of Ribera Alta, has managed to recover the Wealth Register of 1877. It is a historical document that includes an alphabetical list of taxpayers of the time, according to the sections of urban, rural and livestock wealth.
