The archive was initially located in the old town hall located at c/ Major, Nº 1; it is currently in the new town hall located at C/ La Pau, nº 2. The transfer of the documentation was not done in the best conditions, as they brought it in piles and all mixed up.. The archive is located in this building , distributed in three rooms located on the first floor. Much of the documentation from before 1936 was burned during the Civil War. For approximately eight years, staff from the town hall have been in charge of organizing much of the documentation, from 1997 to 2018, and this can be located through a database created with the GINSA program.
In 2004, the City Council joined the Joint Archive Service that started the Ribera Alta Association, carrying out the inventory of the documentation relating to the Agrarian Chamber and the Spanish Falange (1st Phase; until March 31 of 2005). A preliminary report on the state of the archive was also carried out as preparatory work for the cataloging of the documentation. Then the Service was interrupted and it was not hired again until June 2018 and continues to this day.
Since 2018 it has been integrated into the Online Archives System (SAVEX) of the Generalitat Valenciana and visible in the Opac.
