Joan Fuster i Ortells was born 100 years ago today, one of the main intellectuals of the 20th century in Valencia who best knew how to grasp the second part of this past century and whose archive (Joan Fuster space) we will dedicate the first episode of the ReConeix els teus Arxius project to him.

This time we visit the Archive of the Cathedral of Valencia, considered one of the most important document repositories of European cathedrals, by the hand of its director Vicent Pons Alós.

We are premiering the third episode of our ReConeix tes Arxius audiovisual series where, with the help of Susana Llorens (Municipal Archivist of Alicante), Mònica Bernabeu (Archives and Libraries Technician) and Santiago Linares (Auxiliary Technician), we will have the opportunity to see all the tasks and activities carried out in the Municipal Archives of Alicante, as well as to contemplate some of its most important jewels.

We premiere the fourth episode of our audiovisual series ReConeix tes Arxius a l'Arxiu de Institut Francesc Ribalta de Castelló, which celebrated its 175th anniversary as a teaching center last year. During the visit, we will be able to see some of the funds that are kept there as well as learn about the digitization project that is currently being carried out.

We premiere the fifth episode of ReConeix tes Arxius. This time we are in the Archive of the Provincial Council of Castelló, which celebrated its 200th anniversary last year. In this archive we will not only be able to find documentation from the last two centuries, but it also covers up to 800 years ago. In addition, a great function should be highlighted, that of helping and advising the municipal archives of those municipalities with less than 10,000 inhabitants.
